Do you know if we are keeping him next year?

I assume we are but you never know!

I'm not 100% sure but I think he might need a little more time to develop.

His frame doesn't help his cause in first grade unfortunately but he has a lot of determination. Lot of people compare him to Clark but I think he has a little bit more to his game; an offload, a bit of speed and aggression. Could very well debut next year in the back row.

Interesting to see that Angus Crichton has been named for the Bears. They obviously see him as player close to making the jump to First grade considering he is only 18 maybe 19 years old, first year out of school and also first year playing League really...

I reckon he is a player for the future. huge wraps coming out of the Rugby union forums when at high school.

The North Sydney Bears team for Round 20 is:

1) Daryl Millard

2) Bernard Gregorius

3) John Olive

4) Ed Murphy

5) Joel Reddy

6) Cody Walker

7) Darren Nicholls (c)

8) Nathan Brown

9) Paul Carter

10) Zane Musgrove

11) Tulsa Saumamao

12) Jack Gosiewski

13) Cheyne Whitelaw

Interchange:

14) Scott Sorensen

15) Fred Junior Mauala

16) Angus Crichton

17) Jesse Roberts

18) Evan Lee

Good to see our young guys play for the Bears

I think there's been about a dozen 20's players who have played at least one game for Norths.

Very good development we have.

Thanks for that.

Very good development we have.

Crichton will be the seventh U20's player to play for the Bears this season, the others being Brock Gray, Musgrove, Olive, Saumamao, Simone and Whitelaw. That is not including Tom Hughes who played one game for them last year.

yeah that's strange... no mention of him in the performance update being injured.
they are likely to rest him if he has the slightest soreness i'd say.

Yes it is strange.

I guess there is a chance he could be a late inclusion.

Turners a chance of playing 1st grade this week according to triple m.

wow! he must have shown enough in that game for the bears. he would probably only play half the game off the interchange anyway if he does play in first grade. i wonder who he'd replace though. . . maybe lowe. . .

Yeah i'd say he'd come in for Lowe and play 30 minutes max.

I heard that too.

If he plays you'd think Tyrrell or Lowe would drop out of the side.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing McQueen dropped as he hasn't been performing.

If Turner doesn't play you'd think he'd be 18th man and he'd warm up with the team on Saturday in case someone gets injured.

Or maybe Tyrrell.

McQueen could be dropped but probably won't be alien.

I reckon Turner would only play 30mins if he plays to ease him back in.

It's good news, even if he doesn't play this week next week he will play I'd think.
