Typical of all Manly fans, you are entirely ignorant of your own club's behaviour, disgraceful though it was. If Arthurson had put up a genuine fight instead of selling out to News Limited, then the game might not have suffered as much as it had.

If I recall, wasn't Manly's favourite son suspended for digital rape and then recently kicked out of the club.

You're a jerk. Rugby league would be better without you and your club.

No it wouldn't, because:
a) What would happen to the dreams and aspirations of all the kids playing League on the northern beaches?
b) We wouldn't get to see those blonde babes shaking their booty and waving their pom-poms every second weekend, and
c) Who would we get to hate?

Not sure if that was ever tried in 1st Grade tho.

That is actually illegal I think. You can't deliberately miss a goal by kicking towards your winger or whatever I don't think.

The "Fully sick" move.

This has been employed by the off-field contigent of the Bulldogs.

During a game, either home or away, and the Bulldogs effort on the field have been less than satisfactory, hordes of Bulldogs off the field engage in wanton destruction of the sporting facilities at hand, as it provides distraction to the scoreboard.

This move can be upgraded to the "Yeah fully sick bro" move. This occurs when the Bulldog horde is confronted by officials doing their job to cease further destruction. The Bulldogs decide to point out the weakest member of these officials, usually a small female, and go "fully sick" on them.

In both instances, the "Fully sick" and the "Yeah fully sick bro" move can be detailed later in countless dialogues about the heroism and bravery of these acts through discussion, SMS messages and IRC amonst the Bulldogs.

they say u should never argue with an idiot but here goes

Death you have just goosed yourself for the 1000th time, arko retired from the NRL before the ARL sold out (merged) with News Ltd.

I doubt you would find anyone from either side of the super league war that would say arko and the ARL didnt put up a geniune fight.

The ignorance of Bears supporters is laughable.

Manly offered the Bears a lifeline to keep playing. Ok, the merger wasn't everyone's first choice but it had to be the last resort if there was to be a side between the Harbour Bridge and Newcastle. Norths were in debt, Graham Park was a disaster (not the Bears fault, granted).

Can one Bears supporter please explain why Arko should be the blame for everything that went pear-shaped with Norths, including the financial issues, Grahame Park, the performance of the team on the field and all the other factors that caused the fall of the Bears.

How is it Manly's fault that the Bears died? The bears were offered a lifeline. They did not support it from day one and hence Manly took it over. Don't forget Manly forked out millions in the fight with News Limited, by the end of it they were almost gone.

Just be thankful that the game you Bears supporters supposedly love is still around. Pity about your team, but maybe you Bears supporters and club should just wake up, move on, and stop wasting everyone's time claiming you were rorted out of the game.

You stupid manly deadbeat.

What was that paragraph in answer to?

Arko isn't the blame, doesn't mean nobody hates him.

Norths management was pathetic, all Norths fans should admit this. It is the fault of the board. Off field performances from teh big wigs often filter down to the team. Look at the raiders last year after their most "valued" players signed away.

Manly and its supporters can go f**k themselves though, there is no excuse for the public arrogance showed by the manly club towards North Sydney. None at all.

In the 1980's the North Sydney Bears had two variations of a brilliant set move, it was called Canada and America. Can anyone else recall any great set peices by other teams that came off regularly.

the move was called "Knife in the Back". It was formed in 1999. First, you had the Bears prepared for great future in Gosford at a great stadium. next, you had a leagues club that could (and did) give over $10 million to the Bears in the next 3 years. 3rd, you had Manly club that was geuinely broke.

The "Knife in the Back" move saw the Bears put into "administration" and Manly are given Gosford stadium (and $11 million from News Limited).

There are numerous people looking back at this to see who created the move. More news on this will be out soon.

Im preety sure NSW used this move in a Origin game. They were awarded a penalty 5 metres out and 5 in from touch and Michael OConnor took a kick at goal and didnt even take the ball back from the mark. So it basically was a place kick bomb got there was no chance of a goal cos the degree to the posts was to differcult
