Better team won on the day. Quite simple. Thoroughly deserving result both ways - the Warriors didn't deserve to win, Manly did.

Congratulations. Could be a very good year for Manly.

The Warriors will get beaten by 84 by any number of teams if they don't start controlling the pill.

A bit harsh, Iafeta. Manly made just as many errors as we did. But Manly were ahead on the scoreboard by the end of 80mins.

And Manly brought a better kicking game. 40/20 x2, The Warriors will have to sort their wingmen out.

I enjoyed the game, people shouldn't have been expecting a walk over from this one. I personally think for the most part, Manly got owned by the Warriors.

I don't think anyone was thinking it was going to be a walkover, in jest joking, but in reality knowing this team hasn't performed in a long long time whereas the signs for Manly were good last year.

The concern with the ball control is we had the highest error rate last year, and we've started off on the same foot again.

The only bright side for mine was the pack laid a very good platform, Price, Wiki, Koopu, Villasanti, Betham - but the real down side was only Ropati showed any constructive ability to use it. What the heck has happened to Stacey Jones? Fitness now can't be an excuse.

Good game by Manly, you took your chances in a fairly even contest.

There kicking killed us.
Our back 3 are too slow at turning around and chasing the ball and the ammount of just plain dumb errors in good territory is a huge concern.
Toopi isnt of NRL standard, he looked like crap.
Manly should of beat us by more.

I'm gutted, thought we'd win.
Damn dropped balls etc.
The forwards went ok, and the team never dropped their lips but at times, they honestly looked like they didnt know what to do, running sideways and doing nothing.
At least theres plenty to work on.

There was a bit of 2004 in this game except we did keep going for 80mins. I thought Stacey didnt run to the line enough and when he did there was no one running off him. The dropped ball was a killer and very frustrating to watch. When the backs did get it they didnt know what to do. I hope it was just first game jitters, bring on game 2 the Warriors will have pulled out allot from this game just not the 2 points.
