I think he's upset on two fronts, firstly the ridiculous treatment of RL by 9 in Melbourne, and secondly the fact that CvC hasn't received a focus at all, it's a second-string game for nine in order for them to fulfil their quota.

In reality I think this would've worked better:

Fri 7:30pm TEST Australia v NZ Ch 9
Sat 7:30pm City v Country Ch 9

Sun 2:00pm Cowboys v Dragons FOX
Sun 3:00pm Broncos v Sea Eagles Ch 9
Sun 7:30pm Knights v Titans FOX
Mon 7:00pm Roosters v Storm FOX

^ Good post.

Queenslanders may not care, but there are some huge battles going on for spots in the Blues side, so I fail to see CvC not being of interest to NSW'man.

The game should be live. It is a trial match for the highest achievement in RL.

It's a trial game for the test match that's on the same night?????

Oh that's right, international football isn't that valuable anymore since you've been KOed off your perch.

Whilst I can understand the ARL stuffing up the timing, after all they are as about as useful as the NRL in organising things, I am surprised that Ch9 have allowed it. RL being their biggest TV audience you would think they would have insisted on the games being different nights to maximise viewing potential.

Timmahs schedule looks how it should and so obvious it is hard to see how the ARL/NRL didn't do it.

It's because it rates like crap, no matter how much you want to believe it doesn't.

I care very much about City v Country, and I support QLD, and it's not just to see how bad or how good the NSW players are. It's a good game of footy.

Timmah made sense, the NRL doesn't. And Nine are worse.

Sorry mate, shouldn't have generalised. Should have said "Some Queenslanders may not care" (understandably so)
