Based on bellyaches comments in the past week - and l have seen and heard both come from his own mouth - l am more confident of him being involved with us than Reynolds.

I can’t see Bellamy undermining his beloved club. Signing Coates to force out numerous players seems odd and something I don’t think he would do. Doesn’t seem realistic but let’s hope it’s true for our sake.

Agreed. The Storm is his baby. No chance he leaves it in a worst state, especially intentionally. He wants the club to continue to succeed, because if it doesn't all his hard work and culture and systems he put in is gone.

If Fitz has spoken to Bellamy only a matter of weeks ago it suggest to me we're still in the running. Either he hasn't decided or he has decided and he's coming to us. I'm no FBI profiler but his body language and demeanor didn't seem to suggest Bellamy wasn't coming.

I'm not sure someone who aspires to be a HC feels an AC role is the dream job. Regardless of how cushy it is and the money he's getting. Fitz obviously has desires to be a HC and the challenges that go with that. Not to mention the extra $150k or so a year he's getting along with it.

Bellamy might be a reason he's coming here of course but it might just be a simple as he's off contract at the Roosters so is ready to HC.

It may well happen but I'm not believing the media about Bellamy till it's official. Between us speaking to him for 6 months and no one knowing to that rubbish journo coming out and saying it's done only for Bellamy to deny it. Even Riccio.
