Andrew Gee is working by the club's recruitment policy that he downloaded from Google, possibly from a lawn bowls club. We don't sign players of Barba's standard until they are running around in the Queensland Cup, semi-retired.

Not good for the team, but it means more money to spread around developing the club facilities.

Why would Barba want to come here anyway? We have little prospects on the near future of challenging for anything other than a mediocre mid table finish. If Titans could go close to matching our offer he'd be better off signing with them IF he came on the market.

Isn't North Queensland the logical place for Barba if he leaves? His family are in North Queensland, Bowen is leaving and he'd be the perfect replacement. He'd be out of the spotlight up there and could play inside JT. Makes sense if he is serious about getting his life together and also wants to win premierships.

I hesitate getting anywhere near excited about this rumour since the broncos are linked to everyone on or off contract at the moment.
Just yesterday I heard a rumour that Albert kelly was uphappy at the Titans and was looking to come to the broncos, only to see he has resigned for two years today.

Just ask how so called trouble makers (Albert Kelly, Nate Myles, Greg Bird) are going at the Coast. His brother Marmin is in the Titans feeder club it would be more logical if he signs with the Titans.

John Cartwright said that he has no interest in Barba as he is happy with Zillman and that its just media speculation because his partner is moving up to GC.

So hopefully this pushes the cause for the Broncos harder. If the management don't try to get him they are idiots.
