Also I should state, I could go either way on Hunt, yes he could help propel Broncos if he played 9 and could be a backup for Reynolds, But I also think there is a chance he could hinder the harmony the squad has now.
It's also a big kick in the teethe for the guys who have worked so hard to get Broncos back to title challengers and he just comes in on the coat tales.
Agree. You're preaching to the converted on this point mate. You should be telling your club's management (please wait until after they've paid us a fortune to relieve us of the idiot in question though)

TL;DR dragons fans are free to hurl abuse at him for the rest of the season and blame everything on him haha

All the Dragons have done is continue & entrench the unstable environment there , its a cluster f**k.
unless they have a plan other then just holding him to his contract then its the wrong call..
That's another reason to drop him to ressies him as well. We're not going to make the 8. Just tell the muppet to park his arse until a decent offer is provided. He's brought this upon himself. At least he'll have a reason for a change for permanently looking like a depressed, bemused drongo.

Just because you try to hide him in NSW cup doesn't mean the stench around this won't continue to woft around the place ,
The Dragons think they're being tough but they're just being stupid.

Yeah they might fall down the ladder to last place...

The Dragons play hardball and they might get some players for next year from Hunt's new club. It would be more stupid to try climbing a few meagre spots up the ladder in 2023 by releasing a bad influence.. instead of milking everything you can out of a potential release to set you up for more success in 2024

We wouldn't be 'hiding' him. We'd be telling him to pull his fat head in and demonstrating to other bludging, smartarse clubs that they need to get real. How is StGI being stupid? Hunt, his management and other wankers from other clubs have initiated this whole thing. Do you actually think we should should just give him to the Bronco's?

Clown show all round.

Parra mid 2010s vibes tbh
C'mon, be fair. This BS isn't of the Dragon's making. All the clowns in this situation are external to StGI + Hunt. They can sit in their own mess now.

Yeah there's no way the continued incompetence of the board has anything to do with it right?

They'd love the fact that Hunt is being blamed solely for this tbh.

But but but the poor players get moved on by the mean clubs (when they start to coast on long-term guaranteed money and play like shit)
When a player gets moved on he agrees to that move. The player can, and is entirely within his legal right to say no. I want to honour my contract (that may be playing in KOE Cup). This oh the poor player gets moved along is complete bullshit. Just like the clubs can say no mate we think you should honour your contract & no release is granted. The player can do exactly the same.

Dragons have been helping Broncos win premierships since '92.
If we let merkin go to Brisbane and they win the comp it'll be the closest thing we'll have to success in '23. I'm happy for him to leave if he doesn't want to be here. The sooner he goes the sooner his spot can be taken by someone who wants it.
