I guess this is why Flanno and St George went with the signing of Lachlan Ilias, they wanted to cleanse themselves from the 1 million dollar a season Donkey Filth, I can never ever recall in my time following St George of a high profile player, that will go down as the worst investment ever in history of this great club.
Over the past 14 years, some of the decisions made by the Board of Directors have been disastrous, McGregor + Bunt, Griffin + Bunt - Cameron McInnes + Andrew McMullough + Josh McGuire, OMG King's of crap signings, I will leave out Steve Price as he was just a Rookie gone wrong, the Wayne Bennett curse.
As much as I would love to see a Wishart or Atkinson take over from Bunt, I feel Flanno doesn't want to throw huge dollars at another halfback failure. Lachlan Ilias has the opportunity to take his game to the next level, IMO there will be zero pressure, at Souffs he was supposed to be the next big star, bye bye Adam Reynolds.
