Ben Kennedy Can't Wait for Roosters Game.

Kennedy was quoted in todays Newcastle Herald as saying he is jumping out of his skin to get at the Roosters this Saturday night. He loves sudden death footy and is looking forward to a big game against them.
That attitude should send a few worry waves thru the Goosters camp, A fired up captain Kennedy is just what the doctor ordered , the closer too game day we get, the more confident I'm becoming, Kennedy reckons all the players are fired up for a huge effort, Those Goosters don't want to think it's just a matter of turning up, our boys have other ideas.

I've been looking at their recent form, and it is no better than ours. We have both played a few weak teams and won, and we have both played the Warriors and Raiders for a win and a loss.
Because the Knights are facing the chop and the Roosters arn't, I really think we can win this week.

Also on the back page it showed Perry encounters with oppositon forwards. It would be good to see a fired up rampaging Perry Saturday night. Perry seems to play better when he aggravated by the other teams forwards, but in saying that he also can give away some stupid penalties when angry. :evil:

Its an image that stirs the blood it does. How good is it when it looks like the
Knights aren't going anywhere in attack then all of a sudden Kennedy runs
onto the ball at a million miles an hour and sends 2 or 3 defenders flying

I think Ben's hard running isn't the biggest inspiration to the Knights' players. I think it's his all-round enthusiasm. He reminds me a lot of the Chief in his final season.

He still ran hard and hit hard, but it was his enthusiasm for rugby league and his team that inspired the players mostly.

The fact Kennedy feels like a 5 year old at the moment is a great sign for the Knights - he is very keen to get out there and play, and that excites me immensely.

We've got Perry out there fired up from last week and keen to match it with Morley and co, Parsons coming off some good form, Abraham, Simpson etc all playing fairly well.
Buderus is in exceptional form, as is Doogs - Gidley is ready for big games, and the likes of Rudder, O'Davis, M.Gidley etc are all playing at a very good standard.

Things are clicking, and provided everyone continues to do their job for this week, they play the full 80 minutes, we can win -

Forget Kennedy, I'm jumping out of my own skin to play - very exciting time for the Knights.

Yeah, hope the boys all fire up (like against the warriors - BK was goin off!!) n shut those roosters up, even if only 4 a few days!!! We were so rorted against them last yr, n whilst revenge would suggest they had something over us (which clearly isn't true!!!) we do still owe them some 'getting even'!! Just hope the boys can keep playin how they have been, n I think they'll shock quite a few ppl!! Roosters aren't as great as they think - esp. if the ref can get em onside!!! Lookin fwd to a big one!!

I think Joey being injured has been the best thing for us this season.... I can see all our big guns wanting a big game..... they will also want selection on the tour.
Buderus will come up against Wing... Kenndey on Ricko.... It will be a great game to watch... I even get to watch it with 2 Roosters supporters.... and the rest of my fam will be going for the Knights as yet again their beloved Manly are out mawahhhhhaaa ;-)

i saw a picture of him in the newpaper when he was attacking and i'll say i'd hate to be defending against him. With Kennedy all fired up this week whoaaaaaa.......is he gonna be scary.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but Fittler seems to have a slightly intimidated look on his face whilst talking to BK in the recent photos I've seen...........probably has someting to do with the fact that BK most likely was saying how much he was looking forward to "running into" him during the game on Saturday night! lol.

It was when David Gallop was on.... everyone was facing front on and he turned sideways to a camera and you now how people put their thumbs to their heads and open up their fingers and stick out their tounges?.... well he was doing that while eveyone else was being serious.... it looked heaps funny.... David thought it was histerical.

On a different topic, but also bout BK...

I got a bit confused when I was listening to the radio the other day... my sister was listening to NXFM and they were creating the Knights Footy Fabio, and BK won best head (NOTHING DIRTY HERE PEOPLE!!!) - I just dont understand how he could have won that! Most intimidating, perhaps, but not the best looking guy!
