Thats because for the last 5 yrs we have used a set intechange policy. people go on and off at set times during a game, irrispective of the game situation

As a neutral observer I was also surprised by the lack of Fifita. He carved Melbourne up at Leichhardt late in the first half. If you use a set rotation who filled the spot he did that day?

I am not sure you got full value from your bench on Saturday. Fifita played what seemed like 15 mins and Masala maybe 20.
