Even a LeagueHQ Article has blasted him. He was awful tonight, but he isn't a 5/8th.

Brownie was on something this week when he announced the side.

Exactly what we've come to expect from the worst Front Office in the NRL. Bunch of useless amateurs letting their players & fans down.
If you want to find out how NOT to run a RL club, take up trip down to Kogarah.

Six years of ineptitude.
Thanks for the memories, Doust & Brown...

Please - I'm a Parramatta supporter - and I will not stand back and let our title as the worst run Rugby League Club be claimed by some other club DAMMIT !!!!!!!!
P.S. - Rogers is a sh*thouse player , always was , always wil be ....he'll be playing in the NSW cup next year once Brian Smith realises what a crap buy he is .........
Least you guys can look forward to Wayne Bennett next year ....

I have to admit i was nervous before this game..out of all the other teams I really wasn't looking forward to the Saints...until I saw Rogers run onto the park!
I'm not trying to rub it in here but Browns decision, and Rogers subsequent f*ck ups are beyond belief. The one that sticks with me though is watching him have a push and shove with matai, and the next play get scored on. F*ck if I was a coach that would've been the big hook and f*ck off merkin in my book. :?

BYE BYE BROWN-EYE!
You have displayed your total incompetence again, i will always have a lot of memories of you. But tonights team selection will Definitley be a burning reminder of your sub-standard thought process.

How you left out our highest ranked dally m player. Our playmaker. Our inspiration. Our goal kicker. Our unscripted player.... You have lost me. I simply do not get you at all.

Your excuses may be long winded and full of sorrow, but you sir are a damn fool.
How the hell could you not get our team to play finals football when it was do or die?
The defense on display is sickening, the only thing worse is our attack.

To all you huddersfield supporters out there in the old dart, what a f**king shock you fellas are in for.

To Wayne bennett, you have succeeded already, as there can surely be no worse a failure than what the dragons have served up for the last 6 years.
I am sure i speak for the majority of supporters when i say that we welcome your direction and attitude with open arms.

I feel so empty.......yet again

Bloody Oath! f**k I hate Rodgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brownie your a top bloke and were a great player, but as a coach there is nun worst! Bye Bye!

Gaz apparently overruled Brownie, gaz wanted rogers and Brownie wanted soward ,

As it hurts me to say this i think Brownie should have played soward , i bet if a player told Bennett they didnt want the player who bennett wanted, wouldnt be playing in the nrl

Rogers call haunts Brown's final days
http://www.nrl.com.au/News/Latest/tabid/10244/default.aspx?id=52865
When Nathan Brown looks back on his six years with St George Illawarra he'll see plenty of regrets, but it's a decision made in his final hours which could haunt him longest.
Brown's tenure at the Dragons came to an end on Saturday night with a diabolical 38-6 loss to Manly at Brookvale Oval.
While there's no doubt the Sea Eagles deserved to march through to a preliminary finals berth, Brown's call to start Ben Rogers in the No.6 ahead of Jamie Soward came back to bite him.
For the first 22 rounds of the competition Soward was arguably the Dragons' most consistent performer - an accolade given credence by the fact he finished the year as the club's highest vote getter in the Dally M medal count.
A back injury struck and Rogers got his chance, but with Soward fit again, Brown had a dilemma heading into the game.
There were rumours Brown was set to go with Soward until NSW Origin centres Mark Gasnier and Matt Cooper insisted on Rogers.
Brown should have gone with his gut.
Whether it was nerves, whether it was the intimidating Sea Eagles defence or whether he just got out of the wrong side of the bed, Rogers put in a shocker.
His first couple of passes inside the Sea Eagles' 20m zone both hit the ground.
His first attacking kick nearly landed in the first row of the western stand.
His next kick - on the first tackle from a scrum win - was charged down by Steve Menzies for the first try of the night.
And the game was only 12 minutes old.
Later, a frustrated Rogers decided to vent against Anthony Watmough with a bit of push and shove.
The result - the Dragons' defensive line was left a man short with Michael Robertson diving over in the corner, ahead of a despairing dive from a retreating Rogers.
And all the time Soward sat on the sideline and watched.

suck sh*t Brown!!!!!!

Apparently Brown told rogers he wasnt playing, only for Coops and Gas to come in and told him to pick him over Sowie.

Whos the coach? Our centres or brownie?

Dumb.

I feel for you Dragons supporters.

How on earth anyone in their right mind could pick Rogers over Soward in such an important game is beyond belief.

I thought Hagan was bad, but Brown is right up there with him.

As soon as the team lists came out, everyone moaned that Rogers was picked over Soward. It was as clear as day to everyone who was the smarter player and better kicker. Waiting on the hill before the game, all we could think about is whether Soward was going to be a late starter, and when the teams ran out for the warm-up and Rogers was there, and Soward was in his black STGI and jeans, our hearts sank.

To be honest, I didn't expect Rogers to do mcuh or have any real impact on the game. But instead, he ruined as many chances as he could.

We had so much possession in the first minutes, and he kicks out on the full. Next chance, final tackle he runs the line himself - useless. Then he spoon-feeds Manly the first try with the kick on the first tackle and then he lets in the next try by pushing and shoving with bloody Watmough and forgetting that he has a tryline to defend.

His kicking all night put us on the backfoot and on all the back line plays, he seemed to want to run himself and be the hero, except only once can I remember seeing him make a half-break.

Jamie Soward, did well in the Dally Ms, had one of the best and most improved kicking games in the NRL and dominated games with his boot and controlled territory. His pin point kicks, grubbers and chip kicks would have been invaluable against the solid Manly defence.

A decent ref and video ref would have helped too.
