Caught the bronks vrs cows on tele last night, Ben Teo should have been hooked did nothing except bludged. Who ever made the decision not to go hard at him at the tigers made a very good call.

Dont think he will be in the top grade for much longer, he is a imposter

Dont regret his leaving. Needs a fire lit under him to show some consistency- occassional good game / bits of play but mostly very, very average with no real effort exerted.

Sort of typifies a few in the WT outfit..................

More talent in his left one than the blokes we've kept. Showed in the WC what he can do with good people around him getting him up. I bet we regret it.

Ben Te'o is one of the most talented guys in the NRL for his age, but he has 0 ticker and 0 motivation. I hope he can improve on the mental aspect of his game, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think I heard his name twice during the call, and I only remember him making 1 run (I was only watching on and off... I would have watched about 50 minutes).

One could have sworn he wasn't even playing.

I bet you guys think Dave Taylor is no good. So he drifts in and out of games. Give him a few years and he'll make that run he pulled off last night all the time. That's why we pay coaches the big money - to get players playing. Blokes like Bennett don't have too much in the way of tactics - it's all mental. Unfortunately we've got a coach who loves tactics but only very rarely get's his players doing anything.

If Teo can apply himself he will kill it, I recall a game for us last year early where he had a blinder, showed me the potential he has, needs a good coach to get the best out of him...is Henjak the man? - a new coach to first grade, taking over from someone thats been in control for 20+ years, he has a lot on his plate, Ben may slip thru the cracks.

For most of the game when he was on the field in attack, he was standing outside Folau, near Yow Yeh.

It's this lazy thinking that he needs to address.

Potential amounts to nothing if you are way too scared to get in the middle and do some work, we are far better without him.

It won't be long before he finds himself on the bench and then playing QLD Cup.

We had niff nuffs like Heighno to do the dog work. If he did his job properly Teo would be able to score those doubles and set up trys like he did when our pack was going forward.

It's like suggesting Lauititi or Solamona or someone should be taking hit ups. It's not their job! He's a wide running impact second rower and using these blokes as battering rams is why we suck and have sucked from the moment we started trying it.

I agree and that's why I'm not upset to see Fulton go. The less players that could be possibly misused i.e Teo, Harrison and Fulton, the less chance of Sheens to actually misuse them. With the current pack we have, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what they are supposed to do.

What did he show in the world cup? That he plays better than the part timers he played against who play country rugby league or state cup.

Seriously, when the going gets tough, Teo goes walk abouts.

Did you see Tonga's line-up? They threatened legal action so they could pick only FGers. Most would walk straight into our side. Ireland... of the few Aussies they had, one is a grand final legend of our club.

I was most interested in the ease with which he went through guys playing a higher level of football than we play.

i dont think anyone will argue that teo has talent. in fact he would probably be the most talented forward the wests tigers have ever had. however talent will only get you so far in the nrl. ritchie williams had talent, chris walker had talent, owen craigie had talent.

the fact remains that teo showed his true colours. he was nothing more then a money hungry f*ck who played a good game one out of every four for us. when the going got tough you could rest assured that he would be standing out between the center and the winger. nothing speaks higher volumes then when we were getting belted by parra. teo goes into dummhalf, runs 20 meters cross field, throws a hospital ball to hodgson who gets absolutely smashed. then in defence he was reguarly making benji marshall look like a hit man. i vivedly remember the powerhouses of joel moon and ben roberts running over the top of him whilst teo was left lying on the ground wondering how his collar grab didnt come off.

the bloke has absolutely no heart and thats not what you want in a first class footballer. when your up by 20 he'll look like a superstar, but when the games on the line or you need someone to stick there hand up, he'll be holding hands with the touch judge.

sure teo could go on to be a world beater and it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest. however i also wouldnt be surprised if in 3 years he is running around for the sydney bulls either.

Your usual garbage.

A top quality second rower should be capable of running wide AND doing the hard yards when it's necessary. If your team is pinned in it's 20, you don't hang back and have a bludge and let fullbacks or wingers take the 4th and 5th runs of a set. Look at two of the best of the last 10 years - BK and Fitzgibbon. If all we've let go is another Lauititi or Solomona then it's hardly a loss we'll regret to any great degree.

As for his performance for Samoa, there's plenty of bloke's that lift for their country and are barely first grade standards. Just take a look at Olsen and Freeman.

You're seriously underrating Lauiti'iti there.
