Bench Power

I think that Parramatta have the best bench going around at the moment. Primarily due to having players like Widders and Marsh there who can really turn a game around if necessary.

At full-strength..the Warriors have a very effective impact bench:

14. Richard Villasanti
15. Iafeta Paleaaesina
16. Lance Hohaia
17. Manu Vatuvei

Well, I'm very happy with the Dragons bench but Widders has shown more class off the bench than anyone I've seen this year.

yeah hes actually as fit as stringer, and offers more impact

You idiot, Stringer has been awesome this season. Fui is way too inconsistant. He plays great one game and all the parra fans fall inlove with him. then he turns out a sh*t as performance the week after.

Aaron Cannings is heaps underrated. Definately along with stringer the most powerful leg driver in the team.

In an ideal world Penrith would have had Joe Galavaou and Frank Pritchard off the bench this season.

However it would never happen with John Langs obsession with 3 startin 2nd rowers.

Even with the other nuffies on our bench those two offer plenty of impact.

I don't think he's had a 'sh*t' performance all year. Problem is, he has been in reserve grade for part of the year, and suspended for plenty of it as well, so he hasn't had that many games in the top grade. The ones he has played in he has usually gone average to very good, but I wouldn't have said 'sh*t'.

Widders has been awesome, and is the only Eels bench player I'd love to have on the Broncos bench. PJ is good, but I prefer McGuire as a better fit for the Broncos.

PJ complements piggy very well, thats y his impact is a lot more at parra than it would be at other clubs

How the hell can you draw that conclusion. PJ Marsh has played at two clubs, Parra and Warriors (although it was a short stint there). Personally i thought he done a better job when he partnered Brad Drew in the hooking role.

yeah he was better with drew because he was a much better player then, im saying on current form he wont be as effective as he is now with other clubs, because of his combination with piggy

Parra's bench is the best in the comp.

Broncos isn't that great, very soild but the forwards just lack something and you can tell because most of the time Webcke comes off the team starts losing their way.

I reckon the best bench Ive seen is the bulldogs one from last year

14.Hughes
15.Asotasi
16.Maitua
17.Williams

Hughes aside they're all quality rep players and would make any starting side in the NRL.

If Asotasi is on your bench then who is the starting prop?

just wondering, obviously one of them is o'meley i thought Asotasi was the other starting prop now that Price is with us ?
