Benji dropped

The Tigers are traveling a lot better right with Josh Reynolds at five-eighth right now and despite his denials Benji Marshall maybe starting to get restless. Its been reported him and his new manager have been shopping him around. I think it would be a shame if Marshall doesn't end his career in a Tigers jersey but the same token the guy's career is winding down and he wants to play.

"The Herald reports that Matt Desira, Marshall’s manager, has been in touch with the Cowboys, Storm and Sea Eagles.

The Cowboys aren’t short of playmaking options but haven’t had much success in the post Johnathan Thurston era and could do with an experienced leader to guide the team around.

Meanwhile, Melbourne could do with a short-term replacement for Cameron Munster while the same can be said for Manly and injured five-eighth Dylan Walker.

When contacted by the Herald, Marshall said he had no knowledge of his manager’s actions to shop him around while Desira refused to comment."

I wonder where he’ll end up now? Doesn’t he like the training regime under Madge now as he’s a little too old for the tough stuff off the field?

Come back to us Benji, he’s a real man!!

Knowing how injury prone Reynolds is it’s only a matter of time before he slots back in anyway..

I’d only possibly consider a swap for a prop, seeing as we’re thin on them. So yes Brisbane we’ll take Haas and you can have Benji

Looking back he probably should have hung them up at the end of last season. I love the guy but he's lost that yard of pace which made him so deadly in attack, and his defense at times is embarrassing for a veteran of the game. Our side isn't stacked with attacking options to go back to our old mindset of "if you score 30 we will score 31" so we can't afford to leak easy points anymore.

I'd hate to see him leave the club before the season is out, but (unlike the masses on th WT Facebook page) I don't want him shoehorned into the side for the purpose of having him in the team. Ultimately whilst Reynolds is fit and performing well, he should keep his spot in the team.

He needs to show his unconditional love for the club that he so publicly declared on his return and sticks it out or moves into a coaching. If he leaves, then that’s twice he’ll have spat the dummy for being dropped and he is no better than that guy who sat on the scoreboard at Leichhardt.
