Excellent article by Benji.
Frank honesty and sincerity.
I always wondered how Kiwi's really felt when facing the haka. At least, I now know how that Kiwi felt.
Yes but like Benji says, how will your Mr Fourex type fans feel about Kiwis playing origin and then against Australia?
He doesn't even like NSW'men in his Broncos club side.
Where does Marshall advocate playing origin for QLD and being able to play for NZ.......?For me, money doesn't come into it. It's about where you're from, the pride of representing your country, the pride in your family.

I'll give you a clue since you obviously don't have one
He doesn't.
Down the track, if it starts to become even more of a regular occurrence, what then? What happens if there are 10 Kiwis in a State of Origin team? I'm sure Australians would not want their NSW or Queensland teams full of Kiwis.

Interesting to see a product of the Qld RL school take this stance, including hoping for a blews win.
I for one, don't believe that Origin eligibility should impact country eligibility. I can see someone like Benji being passionate for New Zealand, where his roots are, and Queensland, where he learned his trade. Same thing goes for cutie, Beale, Reed, Hoffman, to name a few, but not for Te'o for example, or Tamou or Kasiano, who grew up in NZ and learned most of their trade there.
That is after all what Origin is about... Where you grew and developped your footy, not where you were born, or which nationality your parents are. That's where eligibility to your country comes in, and at that point a player with dual-eligibility can choose where his heart goes to, without putting at risk his state of origin chances.

He doesn't. Where did I say that he did?
This comment made by Benji is what I was referring too,
You are an incompetent poster without comprehension skills.
"Like" : similar too, not what he said exactly, that would be "Yes but as Benji says" then quote.
This is what I wrote:
Get it now?
If not, I do not care. The issue is with you being a dim wit.
I will not even start on my use of the word "but" as opposed to "and".
How you even manage to log onto the internet at times mystifies me. I bet the help call centre staff just love you.
The previous sentence did indeed include sarcasm, just in case you were wondering.
So the reality is Marshall said nothing about Kiwis playing origin and then playing against Australia..... "like" you tried to make out earlierDown the track, if it starts to become even more of a regular occurrence, what then? What happens if there are 10 Kiwis in a State of Origin team? Blah blah blah........

So glad you cleared that up
.......I really don't enjoy having to belittle you every time you post something inaccurate or just plain stupid.
I'd consider it a personal favour if you thought just a little bit more about what you've typed, prior to submitting your reply.
Cheers....;-)
get the f**k outta here with that bullshit...A desperate attempt by a kiwi to be relevant in the lead up to one of the biggest rugby league games for a long time.
I'm not typically one for ad hominem so I choose my words carefully;
Mr Fourex, I am almost certain that you are suffering from mental geniusation.

the likes of Hoffman, Cayless & Nightingale qualify for NZ on heritage grounds... all sports have heritage rules in place.
The likes of Tamou, Kasioano and Te'o have no heritage links to Australia.
and it goes both ways... Fien, Brent Webb & if Konrad Hurell gets picked for the kiwis its just a big rort.
