I thought McDonnell was horrid yesterday, he blew 2 easy tries purely because he was playing flat in a deep backline. Schoolboy error, he should've learnt from the first time he made that mistake, instead, he re-offended.
Then there's the catch he took away from Hodgson, when Hodgo was positioned well and waiting for the kick, McDonnell was running across. Why didn't he look to see where the fullback was? If he's a fullback, then don't put him on the wing.
Morris was cod ordinary, it was very encouraging to see him come from the field after 50 minutes. In the last half hour I think the Tigers scored 4 tries to 1.
You can't tell me that's not sending a message.
Marshall was very very quiet all game, Farah wasn't too bad, nothing brilliant, but I believe both of them weren't expecting to play a big role.
I expect them to both be a bit more confident and involved in the next game though.
Tuiaki needs to learn how to catch, Collis did nothing in attack or defence. It seemed that Lawrence and Hodgson were the only members of the back 6 actually doing a lot of work.
And didn't the team pick up a gear in attack when Head ran onto the field. The tempo lifted and the attack was just a bit quicker, which was the main reason why the Tigers were able to run away with the match.
