Bennett to Coach NRL Allstars

Bennett will get that chance as the coach of the NRL All Stars against the Indigenous All Stars in a historic clash to open the 2010 rugby league season.

Too many club games but enough rep games. I'd love for a longer, more meaningful international season over the boring NRL mid-season.

I'd be interested to see how Bennett goes that weekend. From memory, the game is on the same weekend as when St.George-Illawarra are playing Parramatta in a pre-season trial in Perth. That game is on Sunday 14th February, and I think the Indigenous Dream Time Team vs NRL Allstars is on the night before. Bennett was active in getting this years Dragons-Roosters pre-season game in the Perth media, so I'd be interested if he manages that again next year as well as coach this rep team.
