Do think they will use 1 x trial game which is generally all they get to make a decision? The decision will be made from training. Most forwards will only get 40mins in a trial.
They can see a players power,speed,mentality and all that at training.

Agree. Makatoa was making the side in a strong forward pack in 22.

I'd say of the newbies Hopgood and Hogson is a certainty. I reckon all the others will be fighting for a spot. Murchie, Doorey,Moimesea might all be suprise packets. But its also possible all fall behind the pecking order of guys like Ogden,Makatoa,Grieg,Bryce,Rodwell.

Just kidding hindy, I'll submit my feedback in due course..... But straight up, I'm thinking Tapau for Oregon's spot on the bench is not a bad alternative, but Ogden/Makatoa for the other bench spot is, on 2022 form, uninspiring..... Wish we had managed to keep Stefano instead of Kaufusi a few years back....

I'm not sure that would have made much difference. It would likely just have been Stefano leaving us for the sharks instead. They offered starting prop money which we aren't in the position to do

No. Komolafe probably has more upside. I reckon Cini might be the smoke tbh. He is powerfull and will make you 120mtrs a game. Has a real ticker also.

In round 1 he should, particularly with Matterson giving it to the NRL for 3 rounds. There aren’t that many out and out edge options besides Doorey (Murchie looks to be playing middle).
