the world cup shirts... 1992..

Except when Australia went to New Zealand and they wore their World Series Cup outfits

1997-98 with South Africa and New Zealand was the best series for kits.

The barcode green and yellow shirt, with the Saffas in red and green and Kiwis in teal and black.

The thing I found weird about the 1992 WC was how coem the Windies inverted the colours for the world cup then went back the following summer.

Wonder if Australia will wear Green in the 2015 or will they be back in Canary Yellow

IanG, I think maybe they didnt want to clash with New Zealand, wearing grey.

Notice India went to dark blue after wearing sky blue and yellow in the World Series that summer.

Also I do hope they go back to yellow or Australian gold.

I certainly prefer Australian gold more than mostly green.

The one you posted with Punter holding the world cup with the southern cross on it would rate high on my list.

i really liked your yellow adidas one from the summer of 2006-2007.

you wore the green one with the gold trim for the tri-series against us and the poms...

then you came over for the Chappell-Hadlee and had an alternate kit... yellow with green trim.. it wasn't the shirt worn in the world cup that year... it didn't have the stupid name on the front.

Thats my favourite Aussie shirt I'd say. At TT about the old teal NZ tops, I use to love them when I was younger, but yeah pretty average. I like our tops with the fern on the front, I have a couple types and are way better than our ones at current.

They should bring back the old school replicas for 20/20s!!

Whatever the f**k that shirt is, it's cool.

There was something very refreshing about that early T20 vs NZ when the Marshall boys wore the headbands. They had a bit of fun with it at the time which was great. Importantly though, the retro strips sans sponsorship were amazing.
