Best Backline in 2007

Which side has the best looking backline in 2007, personally, I like the look of the Dragons, if they move Gasnier to the centers

1 Morris
2 MacDougall
3 Gasnier
4 Cooper
5 Naiqama
6 Hornby
7 Head

but if they keep Gasnier at 5/8, as much as I hate to say it, I like the look of Manly's backline
1. Brett Stewart
2. Michael Robertson/Steve Matai
3. Jamie Lyon
4. Steve Bell
5. Chris Hicks
6. Travis Burns
7. Matt Orford

Interesting to see how or backline shapes up.... I think Ingliss will move to five eighth.

1. Slater
2. Geyer
3. King
4. Quinn
5. Turner
6. Ingliss
7. Cronk

Storm don't really have a first grade level 5/8, its no good having strike centers and wingers, without being able to get them the ball, they have also lost some quality backs

Storm have a good side bar the Five Eigth spot. I don't think they'll move Inglis. They may play Aitken or some other junior there.

Storm Backline:
1. Billy Slater
2. Matt Geyer
3. Matt King
4. Greg Inglis
5. Anthony Quinn
6. Russell Aitken/ ???
7. Cooper Cronk

Steve Turner ain't with the side LESStar.

Broncos Backline ain't shabby either.

1. Karmichael Hunt
2. Tame Tupou
3. Brent Tate
4. Justin Hodges
5. Darius Boyd
6. Darren Lockyer
7. Shane Perry

Bulldogs backline seem to cop some criticism , but on paper they are a fairly decent backline.

1. PATTEN
2. UTAI
3. TONGA
4. EMELIO / MILLARD.. ( BACK UP CENTRES SONNY BILL / MAITUA)
5. EL MASRI
6. HOLDSWORTH
7. SHERWIN

However , the Storm /Manly / Brisbane and Dragons have the best backlines in my opinion.

We'll have another inexperienced backline next year,

1. Slater
2. Geyer
3. Inglis
4. King
5. Folau
6. Aitken/Aubusson
7. Cronk

I wont be expecting miracles.

I hear that Liam Foran will have first crack at the 5/8 position, provided he proves up to it in the pre season.

I'm not saying ours is best but if they keep injury free they could be one of the best backlines

1. Thaiday
2. MacDougall
3. K. Gidley
4. Tighe
5. Seage
6. Mullen
7. Johns

Manly and Dragons probably have the best, and Broncos would be up there if Perry can peform solid.

The Dogs backline is solid at best and too slow and too small to be a threat to the better backlines in the NRL.

I'm a Canberra fan and ours is too inexperienced to make a dent next year.

We'll have:

Chalk
Best
Graham
Frawley
Howell
Carney
Dobson

The loss of Mogg and Schif is what will hurt us most next season.

I would say the Broncos. Awesome centre pairing, quality FB and the best 5/8 in the game by miles. If their halfback is serviceable then they'll be fine.
