Tigers:
1. Hodgson
2. Moodie
3. Galea
4. Whatuira
5. Fitzhenry
6. Marshall
7. Morris

Short of an injury Galea will be in the back row or in premier league. He won't be starting first grade ahead of Dean Collis.

Fitzhenry and Moodie (if he plays) will be hard pressed to both start ahead of Lawrence, McDonnell and Jeffrey.

The Souths backline is horrible, Panthers is nothing special either.. I mean Moke, Rooney, Aiton at 5/8.. Even Lewis is better served on the wing.

Panthers backline sucks. The best we could have... IMO:

1. Rhys Wesser
2. Luke Lewis
3. Michael Jennings / Peewee Moke
4. Michael Gordon
5. Matthew Forwood / Nick Youngquest
6. -Test Aiton here, if he isn't up to it, then Wallace or Sammut.
7. Craig Gower

That's a solid backline, but definitely not a top 4 backline. If form and skill play into our team being picked, Rooney will not be selected. Lewis is a great winger, and Matthew Forwood or Nick Youngquest would be better on the other wing. Gordon needs to be moved to the centres for more ball, and Jennings or Moke should be given a shot at the other centre spot IMO.

5/8 - Aiton could be a very lethal 5/8, although he hasn't got a kicking game as such... so it might not be worthwhile. I'd trial him and see how he takes it. Otherwise throw him in as a lock and use Wallace or Sammut.
