Totally Agree. How many know its a cover of a Nine Inch Nails Song though ? Thats what makes it special. Johnny LOVED every era of music ...

I actually found out it was a cover of a NIN song on this very site!

I just love it because it's so very poignant...But at the same time you can't help but love the song. What Cash did to it was simple and yet brilliant at the same time.

absolutely ... thats the best bit. Im listening to it again right now. Im not allowed to upload an mp3 on this site, so you'll need to search for it (if you cant find it PM me and i'll upload it in private on rapidshare). No doubting its MUCH heavier than Kenny G's original, but when you hear the solo done by guitars you'll be impressed as well

In that thread, I also mentioned one of my favourite 90's bands Soundgarden and their song Rusty Cage, and the cover that Johnny did.

I just cant split either version ... and trust me im a HUGE fan of Soundgarden, but JC just gave it that human touch (and also campaigned religiously about wrongful imprisonment as well ... which Rusty Cage is ALL about.)
