Just wondering who has stood out defensively in your books, I notice a few regulars appearing in the Brut Big Hits competition on the Sunday Footy Show. Share your thoughts on who has been defensively strong to you?

Someone who has stood out lately is the small but hard hitting Isaac Luke, he has pulled of some beauties comming off the bench for Souths.

Yeah Asotasi and Luke have been good. Merritt and Webb have also pulled off a few corkers this year.

Scott Logan is one bloke I really wish we hadn't let go. He was enormous for us in 2005 and is going just as well for the Raiders this year.

Agreed. He's not up there with the top echelon of props, but gee he's not far behind. If I was a Queensland selector I'd have him in there ahead of a joker like Nate Myles in a heartbeat.

Ben Smith in particular seems to have a technique problem... seems the commentators on the weekend (well, David Morrow at least) agree with me on that one too.

The Hindmarsh thing... well, it's a subjective call, but to me he always seems to catch guys around the head with little to no consequences.

Ben Creagh has been super solid in defence all year for the dragons. He is the only player i have seen to lift up Fui Fui and drop him on his back more than once in a game.
