The Knight Ryder, Roy Bell and Joven Clarke, great names from the past with a zest to put on a big hit. Many great defensive memories there, their NRL careers gone, but never forgotten.

In terms of hard hitting, Sam Rapira is going great for us, but in terms of defensive consistency and getting the 1%ers right in defence, Micheal Luck.

Evarn Tuimavae is hitting the occasional bugger for six as well this season...but youare right with Luck tacklin ,tackling and tackling some more.

I could pick a number of guys that have put on some great shots this year, but 3 really stick out

The obvious Alan Tongue, Lincoln Withers, and Scott Logan

Dallas Johnson has been awesome this year. Not only does he top the count often he can pull off a few big hits.

Tonie Carroll is an absolute axe. He just lines guys up and monsters them.

f**k I'd hate to run at him.

Yep, he is a supreme hitter.
Broke the ribs of both Josh Perry and Brent Webb in last 2006.

Isaac De Gois has put more than a couple of much bigger guys on their ass, although all round his defence is good, not great.

Best thing about those guys, they were so quick, they could go for the big hit, miss and then run back and have another go before someone else could get a crack;-)
