The best players are the old school ones. He's old school.

I love how Bulldogs fans have invented this bullshit code for being a thug.

"Old School" "Passionate"

What does this make Greg Bird? the greatest player in the NRL by far.

I just jizzed.

I don't even think Australia could come up with a pack that good over the past 15 years.
Just of the top of my head

8. Price
9. Smith
10. Civoniceva
11. Tallis
12. Fitzgibbon
13. Kennedy

and I'm almost certain I've left out about 20 Australian forwards of similar quality

after Morley, burgess brothers, Graham and Ellis, the quality of the British forwards drop off

Chuck Josh Hodgson in at hooker. He's a really good footballer

Name a better one.

If you don't think James Graham, George Burgess, Gareth Ellis, Adrian Morley and Slammin Sam Burgess make up a formidable forward pack then you're kidding.

Name a better Aussie pack over the past 15 years.

What you mean is they're the only ones who have played in the NRL so they're the only ones you know about/have ever heard of.

Clearly an excellent pack...

Just off the tope of my head (even that's hard because so many good players come to mind)

8. Webcke
9. Smith
10. Civonociva
11. Tallis
12. Mason
13. Gallen

Matches your pack, imo, and could probably name a completely different one that would too

If I was making a combined pack from yours and Tommy's I'd come up with this;

Webcke
Smith
Graham (a whisker in front of Civo, due to his endurance over 80 mins)
Ellis
Tallis
Surgess

Yeah but you don't get points for depth. You could name another 3 quality Australian packs but that doesn't matter.

That's a quality Aussie pack. But I'd take the English forwards, if we're not including the hooker. I'm sure Hodgson is quality but it's Cameron Smith we're talking about.

The Kiwis could match it too

8. Wiki
9. Luke
10. Bromwich
11. SBW
12. Lauitiiti
13. Nikau

I'm sure there are plenty of improvements to that too

No I mean theirs a quality drop off after them. watch a bit of super league and apart from maybe Westwood, O'loughlin and possibly Wilkin, and guys like farell and sculthorpe in the past, theirs not many outstanding British forwards. The fact that someone like eorl cabtree can make the national side 13 times tells you something

Combined I reckon I'd go
Webcke
Smith
Graham (only a whisker over Petero)
Tallis
Mason (at his peak, a beast)
S Burgess

Ellis Morely, Gallen and Petero unlucky

Combining all 3... I'd go with

Webcke
Smith
Graham
SBW
Tallis
Surgess

3 Aussie's, 2 Poms and 1 Kiwi...
