It was a crap try - with a capital C.
:roll:
Is that the best you've got? There was nothing special about that try. A solo effort and a defender fell off to give him the opening. For the rest of the match, Fittler did next to nothing. Good luck to him because he took full advantage of the opportunity.
Well his footwork seemed to be to good for your teams defenders...

I'm not taking anything away from Fittler who imo is a champion player. But you're trying to make out is as if it was great footballing moment. When it comes to "class with a capital C", Gasnier's 'no-try' was more impressive.

"Browny admitted that catic's disallowed try was a dud decision"

Well Browny was wrong. The decision to disallow Catic's try was the correct decision.

Well it probly wasnt his best moment Willow but i enjoyed seeing it as it shows hes still got it. I reckon he had his best match of the year personally. BTW would you prefer Head or Firmin, cos Head is a gun player from what ive seen.

Come on Willow, you have to give credit where credit's due. Hornby was solid all day but Fitler's massive step was just too good for him. How his knees don't buckle I'll never know.

Damn you Fitler!!!! :twisted:

The only negative I see for the Mighty Dragons at this stage is the upcoming Origin series. We could be stretched with the likes of:

Barrett;
Bailey;
Timmins;
Thompson; and
Cooper

in contention for selection. Even Gasiner can't be ruled out of selection at this stage.

I hope the boys continue to play solid football like they have been doing so we can head into the Origin series near the top of the table.

I went to the game on Sunday and once again I didnt notice that Powell was on the field...Fittler ran through him to score his try.

Our best were:

Thompson, Kite, Hornby, Head and Matt Cooper gave Cross a hard time.

Our worst were:

nobody really, which is the same as the last 3 weeks, Powell wasnt noticed when he came on, but on the replay he made a few good tackles, but races up and creates a gap.

Howell had one of his better games till he gave them that stupid penalty.

i think our outside backs have plenty of support in PL if they get selected for origin

Carlaw for Cooper
Greenshields for Barrett
Long for Bailey

Ryles wont play origin
Kite For thompson
Powell/Howell for Timmins

Coming from the Gold Medalist of stupidity, I take that as a compliment.
But why are you saying that Fittler isnt a champion player? I'm surprised... when did you have this change of heart?
