Weyman needs more love in this thread.

It's amazing how quickly people forget about a player when they get injured.

A couple of good years surrounded by numerous crap ones shouldn't elevate anyone into the category of 'best'.

I may sound biased but I'm suprised Tim Grant hasnt recieved much support he was pretty much our only bright spot this year, his go forward was sensational.

No doubt he's a good player but he isn't in the class of the other players mentioned in this thread, however, one day he may as he definitely has potential. Same with Mckendry

To me Kasiano can't be mentioned until he becomes more consistent, a better defender and averages at least 100m a game.

Scott is a fantastic prop & the best one going around but f**k Tamou is going to be something special. All of the attributes of a strong front rower, but chuck in his footwork and speed and he could play 20+ Origins for NSW

I still haven't seen Tamou smashed hittin it up yet. Thought h'd cop a bit in origin but he always seemed to push through the line. Its probably happened but haven't seen it.

I mean the bloke is 6'4 and 115kg of granite for starters so most defenders would be happy just to stop him and then there's the footwork which makes him very hard to line up and put a shot on

Yeah, it's definitly his footwork IMO that's the main reason. Something matulino has in his game as well, which is why I rate him in the top 5 as well. 2 huge blokes with top footwork at the line.

Lol, you won't believe me but I would say Tamou has been smashed. In one of the Storm - Cowboys games earlier this year, surprisingly, Cameron Smith of all people came from nowhere and really knocked him off his feet and straight to the floor.

Cowboys and Storm fans will remember it. Tamou was straight up to his feet mind, but it was a fair sized hit

There ya go, cam's good for the odd shot on a bigger bloke isn't he. Tamou's gotta be the hardest prop to put a shot on but.

Aw, c'mon .... what about the missile that is .....Kade Slowden?

LOL. Snowden's absolute sh*t, and always has been. I can't believe he played for AUS. I remember when Snowden and Mannah made Origin and everyone was talking them up. I pointed out how shit the pair of them were, and everyone disagreed with me.

I wonder how many people would disagree with me now.

How many people have ever argued that form is constant?

Snowden and Mannah were both right to be picked when they were. That they're not playing to the same standard today tells us nothing other than that they aren't playing to the same standard today.

At the time most were right, at the time you were wrong.
