If Creagh was given the job to stand in the middle and make 50 tackles (proper tackles, not third man in) a game he would do it.

If his job was to run up the middle like a front rower and make 150m every game he would do it. Last season a number of times he was switching to front row after 20mins when Ryles came off, still playing 80mins.

However he is the best forward in the game at running wide, with pace breaking the line, bending back the line or getting an offload away or running thru a hole. So obviously that is the job he is given and thats what he does.

He would be one of the most versitile forwards in the game and has been playing like this since 05.. People not long ago were saying he doesnt have an offload, of course he does! The dragons have just been playing so tight this year and Wayne would have instructed him to limit them. Watch him for long enough and you will see he has all the skills.

His greatesst asset however i feel is his tempermant. Gallen, Odonnell, Crocker, Watmough, all those duche bags boil over as soon as they get on the back foot and are good for a cpl of grubby little penalties, a loose carry or a dumb error. You wont see that from Creagh.

If he manages his injuries he will be around at the top for a very long time.

He was great in Origin 1, Bellamy should just tell Jennings to follow Creagh coz he seemed to get his arms free for an offload every time.

I rate O'Donnell the highest ahead of Creagh then Gallen. Gallen is the best at lifting the team around him, Creagh has a great offload and tackle breaking ability while O'Donnell is the toughest.

Thaiday has been good this year but lacking the impact which is confirming something I thought would happen to him. He is turning into another Nathan Hindmarsh, because the other backrowers like Sims, Teo and Setu aren't really workhorses Thaiday seems to be picking up the slack there and it is detrimental to his attacking play.

O'Donnell is plenty tough, but he doesn't change a game with the ball in hand the way that Creagh and even Gallen can.

I agree about Thaiday, every time I have watched the Broncos play he has been used wrong, he is now playing the role of battering ram and being tackled to a standstill, not his go.

Lol at Taia not getting a mention outside of Knights fans. Most underrated second rower in the game

Bronson Harrison deserves to get mentioned.

Plays 80 mins - Tops tackle count for raiders and pretty sure he tops the offloads in the nrl.

He can get rid of the ball under any circumstance.

Just need a decent halfback on his side to give him the ball in better opportunity.

But also big fan of odonnell & taia. Seen Ryan have a couple of good games this year.

For the future Steve Rapira (cowboys) - close to hardest hitting defender already

I rate Ben Creagh highly but I would take Harrison or Hindmarsh over him. Thaiday could probably be as damaging as Creagh running out wide if Henjak wakes up and starts using him properly.

O'Donnell, Creagh and Waterhouse have been the form three so far this year. Watmough despite his ordinary defence and 50/50 hands would be up there too. He constantly breaks the line.
