I caught an Ian Paice drum stick at a concert in Newcastle a few years back. made my drummer mate pretty jealous, but I ended up giving it to him for his birthday. His cousin was heard to say "Who gave him one drumstick?!?!?!"

For the question at hand, I'll nominate "for Whom the Bell Tolls" - Metallica

If you like Paicey's drum skills, you'd have to go for the intro to Pictures of Home wouldn't you? Especially on the 25th Anniversary edition of Machine Head which has an even longer version.

Agree with EA on Whatever You Want - most of the time I just listen to the intro of that song and then skip to the next one :D

Let's see what I can recall ...

Metallica - Enter Sandman, Sanitarium, Harvester of Sorrow, Sad But True
Smashing Pumpkins - Jellybelly, Thru the Eyes of Ruby
Pink Floyd - Money
ZZ Top - Legs
White Zombie - More Human Than Human :D
Small Faces - Tin Soldier
The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary
Black Sabbath - Embryo/Children Of The Grave, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Deep Purple - Our Lady (listen to it), Speed King (*with* the waffle), Pictures Of Home
Dire Straits - Down to the Waterline, Brothers In Arms
Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Chile
Joe Cocker - With A Little Help From My Friends
Led Zeppelin - Custard Pie
Masters Apprentices - Because I Love You

Cannonball by The Breeders.

When the bass line kicks in it is amazing and pretty hard to play through the whole song.

Never Learn Not To Love - Dennis Wilson

Starts with a cymbal getting louder which was recorded than played backwards. Weird spooky sound.

But then again, the song WAS written by Charles Manson. Creepy.
