My favourite of all time is Days of Thunder, so that wins. Next fav Tom Cruise movie is Cocktail. Yeabuddy!

Despite the hate he gets Cruise is a really solid actor and very rarely gives an awful performance. At worst he's a bit typecast and plays himself a lot, but it still isn't bad acting.

Collateral, Interview with the Vampire and Tropic Thunder (lol) were instances where he really disappeared into a character.

Just watched Jack Reacher. Absolute trash movie and his acting is really really bad.
He should just retire now and go and enjoy his money but I doubt his ego would let that happen.

Tropic Thunder is one of the worst f**king movies I've ever seen. I seem to be clearly in the minority here, as it was a hit & people still talk about. I've never turned off a movie half way through, til this steaming pile of shit. I'll never understand what anyone saw in this movie, unless people like corny, boring predictable Ben Stiller jokes. Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark it was bad. So bad. f**k you world.

But then I thought about it a bit more and he has actually been in some great movies. Minority Report, The last Samurai, A Few Good Men were superb.

I guess it pays to think about shit a bit harder than going off half assed.

Ever use the term "never go full genius"

Cruise was funny a f**k, played a great douchebag.

Overall not the best movie, couple of great lines, and a good cameo from cruise.

I am in total agreeance with you....I hated it. Only think I found amusing was the Tom Cruise performance.
