Best Tom Cruise movie.

This. His performance in Magnolia was amazing.

Cruise is a great, charismatic actor. And he's been brilliant in a number of movies.

Collateral was certainly one of them. Tropic Thunder, too. Two movies which show his range as an actor.

Now that's crap. Put on a bald cap, a big nose and big hands and yell at people and dance. Takes a special person to do what he did in Tropic Thunder

He's an actor, and he does what is needed for most of his films. That's it.

She was stunned I'd never seen it, so invented a kind of 'quiz' through which I could earn points to trade in for sexual favours

A movie quiz in return for sexual favours? Sounds like one of the best things ever.

I forgot about Born in the 4th of July. Its a great performance.
The Last Samurai was a f**king joke and shouldnt have been made.
Days of Thunder was boring, anyone can play a driver.
Tropic thunder sort of turned my opinion of him around. The angry Jew was great.
Top gun was meh.

But the one I forgot was Jerry McGuire. He was great in that also but I still stand by Collateral.

1. Collateral
2. 4th of July
3. Jerry McGuire.

It was pretty rad. Don't recall much about the movie, but I do remember she let me pass despite getting a few wrong. Good times.

I haven't seen it but people seem to think Rain Man is good.

In fact I can't think of too many of his that I've seen... weird. Ah I know, A Few Good Men. That was very good.

I think a lot of the Cruise bashing comes from the fact that he's a bit of a loony. I agree in 'Collateral' he was brilliant- you could still see that cockiness that he plays so well, yet it was much darker and toned down than usual. In 'Tropic Thunder' he managed to convert this to a comic arrogance...

Exactly Knightmare.

Cruise is a complete nutter and a lot of people either don't like him or don't want to like him but at the end of the day he makes some f**king brilliant films.

No love for Jerry McGuire?

That said, I vote Top Gun.

Interview with a vampire was one of his best. I liked A few good men, Risky Business, Color Of Money, TAPS and Jerry Maguire. Collateral was a great movie as well.

A Few Good Men. The scene at the end with Jack Nicholson is an amazingly good scene. Top Gun and Jerry Maguire are also fantastic movies.
