there was maybe 2 episodes of Seinfeld that were below average and they were right at the end of the series.

Agree, just one episode in the last seasons that I didn't like (the one where George is trying to get a stuck snickers bar from a vending machine) By Seinfelds own admission they were out of ideas after season 6 so to come up with a few more quality seasons was a good effort.
