I like kookaburras too, but maybe it should be implied rather than stated, as the word "kookaburra" is a bit aweful.

I always liked "Brisbane Valleys" as a club name with a Kookaburra mascot/emblem/logo... colours white, brown and light blue. Valleys is a name thats long been used by Rugby League clubs, and would be great at the NRL level.

Pretty good. But they could make it Lockyer Valleys and build a statue of Darren.

CQ is the beef capital of australia, but not all of the catchment will relate to bulls. Whereas what doc brown said above a name relating to sponsors (other very large CQ industries) may be another way to go......
