I assume a teams decision to bat or bowl may depend on how many overs they will actually play?

Surely if they're going to go through a longer format in the finals they can replay the match in a weeks time or something? If they don't take the field the Sixers will win by default.

To be perfectly frank, there should at least be a reserve day for a grand final. Players can play it whenever they can on that following day. Stars are copping the shit end of the stick so bwhahahaha!

That's what I thought too but don't think it should be a factor. Overs could always change during the match.
