What's Gayle's average for the tournament? 7 or 8?

Not that Fox likes to talk about averages. It's all about strike rates to these dicks. Who gives a f**k if you have a strike rate of 160 if you average 10?

Agreed

They only put up strike rate and balls per boundary stats

4/31

Another loss coming up

Time to wind up the Thunder methinks. Terrible team, no fans, no heart.

Launch a new team in Canberra next year.

Or, you know, wind up this whole joke of a competition and go back to States?

The BBL should be the states plus invite the Kiwis to enter two or three teams (or however many they like). They have the HRV Cup, which is their version of the BBL, but based on the six regional associations. They'd be shit if they had six, but three might be okay.

The 6 states
7 Auckland (Auckland and Northern)
8 Wellington (Wellington and Central)
9 Christchurch (Canterbury and Otago)

Okay it's an odd number but who cares.

Thats bloody unfair

I reckon whatever thunder get, opposition has 10 overs max to get them, much fairer :D

The boundary rope should come in 30 meters when the Thunder bat..And the opposition should only get 2 when they hit it to the boundary along the ground..3 if they can clear the boundary..

And they only get to lose 4 wickets..

Thunder still wouldn't have a winning season IMO..
