If this lineup proves to be true though could be a nice day out. Not really keen on RHCP these days though. Everything they've put out from about halfway through the Californication album to their latest album is not my scene.

RHCP are coming to Aus in 2013 so at least it has some kind of basis...

Anyway, RHCP are my favourite band but I can't see their live performance being the same without Frusciante. Not to mention their last two albums have been generally lame and I get the feeling you'd have to sit through too much of their new stuff to listen to their classics.

Same thing happens every year. Last year we were all talking about Pearl Jam and Radiohead possibly playing. I think even RHCP was thrown in there.

It's either Ken West trying to create an early buzz to boost ticket sales, or just a tool having a lend.

Soundwave isn't too bad, but nothing comes close to Alternative Nation 1995.
