Having no reserve grade was a great idea NOT!!!!
You know I'm St George and I know you're Illawarra, but in all honesty mate, I rather have a Steelers NSWRL Premier League team than none at all.

The dumping of a second grade side is quite simply the dumbest single decision this club has ever made... and I've been following them for over 40 years.

lol i was thinking the same.

i was think either that song or white lines by grandmaster flash

specially this verse since he's a anti drugs crusader now

Ticket to ride, white line highway
Tell all your friends, they can go my way
Pay your toll, sell your soul
Pound for pound costs more than gold
The longer you stay, the more you pay
My white lines go a long way
Either up your nose or through your vein
With nothin to gain except killin’ your brain

heres the clip if any one wants to revisit an old school classic

Sailor scores twice in league comeback

AAP

Wendell Sailor scored two tries in a successful return to rugby league.
Sailor, playing in his first game after a two-year ban for cocaine use, bagged a double in the Shellharbour Marlins' 30-22 win against the Erina Eagles in the Jim Beam Cup.
The dual-international's first try came 67 minutes into the Ron Costello Oval clash when he fielded a cross-kick and touched down just wide of the post.
That sent the estimated 3,000 faithful into raptures.
However, the man with the Rockstar reputation proved his ability to put on a show when he barged over for another try seven minutes later.
That try put the Marlins ahead 28-22 and gave the Marlins the lead for good.
Despite the fairytale comeback, Sailor saw some points he needed to work on before making a return to the NRL with St George Illawarra.
"I was a bit disappointed at dropping two balls and missing a tackle," he said.
"But it was an alright return first up."
Sailor was relieved just to be back on the field.
"Just for my family and the supporters who I let down, everyone in rugby league has welcomed me back with open arms," he said.
"I tried to come out and play well for all the kids who came out tonight; two years or 18 months ago, I thought this would never happen.
"I would have liked to have scored a hat-trick but that's footy.
"When you make a mistake of the magnitude I did, families are the ones who are really hurt."
Despite being away from league since 2001, Sailor's try-scoring instincts came to the fore when he fielded Brad Dureau's cross-kick and crashed over in the 67th minute.
"Being an old winger I just saw a bit of space and called for it; I was lucky enough and tall enough to grab it," he said.
After the match Sailor was mobbed by crowd and media from all over Australia and the world.
Before his comeback he warmed up at adjacent Keith Hockey Oval.
He was greeted warmly by the crowd when he made his return to the field.
After a quiet first half he exploded in the second and sent the crowd home happy.

That Shellharbour Marlins' jersey looks very much like the old Broncos one, texture wise at least. It looks like Wendell of old.

So when is he gonna write an article saying Shell Harbour is better than St George Illawarra, & which Dragons players would go well in the Jim Beam Cup ?

He not only has to earn a spot in first grade, someone has to warrant being dropped to get him that spot.
If this turns into a "bums on seats decision", it will finally prove to one and all that the front office of the club couldn't organise a choko vine to climb a sh!thouse wall.
Who would you drop from Saturday's game to include him in the side, remembering that Gaz, Coops and Hornby automatically come back into the side.

I'd like to see this backline given a run:

B Morris
Nightingale
Cooper
Gasnier
Sailor
Soward
Hornby

And this pack:

Creagh
Setu
Reynoldson
Poore
Young
Ryles

Bench: Stanley, Chase, Scott, Hunt.

Would mean Chase Stanley and Rangi Chase going back to the bench, and unfortunately JMoz and Lett go back to Helensburgh Tigers or wherever. Woolford also gone, but his form is questionable anyway.

I thought Lett was impressive and I couldn't drop him for Dell at this stage. The bloke's played one Jim Beam match after a two year layoff.

Lett defiantely earned his stripes as back up. he has been impressive when called upon.

One thing for sure, if the Dragons are looking to buy players they defiantely don't need any outside backs. They have plenty of them at the moment and just need to retain them. Josh Morris since he signed for the Dogs has been playing out of his skin........
