Yep, it seems a bit like the inmates are running the asylum. Not sure if Gallen retiring will help with this or not. Time will tell. If he doesn’t pull the ego’s in line and stamp his authority though, it’ll be all over as quick as it began for him.
Could go either way. Gal has his favourites and a lot of influence obviously. Tend to think Morris will have more control without Gallen pulling rank when he’s not around.

They got Flanno internally.

Before Flanno they got Ricky (external), Stuart Raper- (external but you could argue internal based on his previous coaching at the club), Chris Anderson (external), John Lang (external), Beetson (external? I don't think he was with the club prior???)
I'm just saying the club seems to take the easy road with coaches at times.i know they didn't have much time to make a decision, but 3 years for a rookie coach......

He said the ban was particularly hard on his son Kyle, who was on the Cronulla roster at the time.

Kyle Flanagan recently signed a two-year deal to link with Sydney Roosters from 2020.

"Who knows what would have happened if I was still coaching at the Sharks, Kyle could probably still be there," Flanagan said.

Flanagan is eligible for registration from December 18 after speaking with Greenberg last Friday.

Asked if he hoped to one day return to Cronulla, Flanagan said: "Definitely one day but I wouldn't say in the near future".

Sharks great Paul Gallen hoped Flanagan would again hold the Cronulla reins.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

That’s already a substantial part of the phenomenon known as Cronullafication.
