I get your point Eion but I think the reality is it is tied to him actually playing the match the same way his origin pay is. His time will come when they fix the eligibility issue.

I know technically they don’t need to pay. But this kid gives so much to the community. When the contract was made the Sharks thought he was eligible for Qld and said ‘if you’re good enough to make the side you get a bonus.’
It would be a great show of support to a bloke ticking all the boxes on and off the field. It’s only like 20k or something and just the right thing to do.
