Bit early to be rating these blokes but i wouldn't be rating Hutch as average, especially if he reads this, he was awesome until he got injured and he will be a great asset to the sharks in 2005, I expect him to be in the starting team.

Bit early to be rating these blokes but i wouldn't be rating Hutch as average, especially if he reads this, he was awesome until he got injured and he will be a great asset to the sharks in 2005, I expect him to be in the starting team.

dont get me wrong imashrkie, i think Hutch is a very good player, at the moment he is on average, i am rating the other players on how they play at other clubs.

You obviously didn't see Pelo play beforehand. I have watched him since schoolboy footy until he left the Burleigh Bears. He was, and is above average. Poor rating on your behalf. A genuine three quarter who will offer this first grade side a lot when he gets a start.

SAG, i'm interested to know how you saw all of these players play on a regular basis. Especially when some of them have/had never played first grade before the sharks bought them (ie Jim Beam Cup).

Without having seen them play ona regular basis how could you judge them before they came to the club? Wouldn't it be a more relevant discussion as to how the buys have performed at the club not before they were at the club anyway?

I think average is an appropriate rating for Kent. Merrit has been average, but he had bigger raps on him.
