I don’t have anything negative to say about any of them…which is an odd feeling. Only a trial but good to see they turned up the intensity this week.

Also suck shit Dom Young. I got absolutely sprayed when he first left and I said I don’t think he’ll actually be a huge loss and his inside men were making him look good here. What an absolute regression.

Last week was a trial, this week was a warm up. Early days but both the sides were near full strength starting and the signs are pretty good, considering we still have Fris to come back and the halves aren't really settled. I'd prefer Gamblor at half tbh, but if Cogger can be one solid shit, not madras f**king everywhere, then it might work.

Last year between SG Ball, Flegg, NSW cup and under 19s origin I’m pretty sure he saw time at fullback, wing, centre and 5/8th. Unlike a lot of fullbacks who are smaller and more nimble he’s actually a big body at around 190cm and 95kg so has a very similar body type the big, tall rangy outside backs like Critta, Farnworth, Lomax, McLean, Kiraz, etc

Once he fills out is going to be a beast of a centre.

Hope Brailey stays fit until he retires many years into the future. Looked great. Was fun to watch our attack look quick and slick. Excited to see more Sharpe.

From the sound of the interview posted in the other forum - Buzz v POS, Brails will be gone the end of this year anyway. I do still hope, for his sake, he is past big injuries.

Likely to lose Frizell, Gagai and Leo along with others such as Hastings, might be good to give him another year if injury free for that experience alone and give Arthur time to gain experience

Can't looked terrible whenever he played out wide but looks good in the middle. Maybe he can develop into a Ruben Cotter type/standard in the future? Anyone know if he was rated as a youngster?

Cant/Crocker is precisely the minimum outlay maximum return, cap value, lock forward Sully would go for. Better return on investment - healthier cap.

Sharp has the biggest season of his career ahead, a grueling NRL season for a young man in a new position, but wow he looks like he could be a superstar.

Cant was a pretty decent junior, undersized but mobile. I think Reuben Cotter might be setting the bar a tad high but I think he can give us a very similar impact to a guy like Kurtis Morrin at the dogs or a Jazz Tavega, good impact off the bench and offering a point of difference to big boppers like Leo and JSaf

My take on the weekend's game was while yes, it was only a trial, the most impressive thing for me was the defence. A lot of repeat sets and goal line defence, yet virtually unbroken. Good stuff!
