JBL - Heel
Kane - Face. He's been a heel a lot lately, but the original Kane that wore the mask with the long curley hair and red & black tank top as a face, joining forces with DX in the attitude era was epic.
Edge - Face. As the Rated R superstar. Had a good heel run but most preferred him as a face.
Sting - Face
Sheamus - Heel. Is doing a good job now as a face but when he first entered, he made an instant impact as a heel.
CM Punk - Face. Did well as a heel with Straight Edge Soc., however took wrestling to a completely unseen level as the face he is now
Batista - Face. His alliance with Rey Mysterio was one of the best stories in modern wrestling.
The Miz - Heel. Has he ever been a face?
The Rock - Face. One of the biggest names ever. After a 7 year absence, he easily managed to get the WWE universe to hate the biggest name in the business, John Cena.
Booker T - Face. Has mainly been a fan favorite
Triple H - Heel. His persona as the game in the late 90s was unforgetable. Had a good run with Shawn as a DX face though.
Ric Flair - Heel.
Bret Hart - Face.
John Cena - Face. Sure the fans hate him now, but he's always been a face.
Mark Henry - Face. He just doesn't pull it off as a heel for me.
Hulk Hogan - Face.
Mick Foley - Face.
Stone Cold - Face. On par with the Rock. His heel turn was very poorly scripted.
Randy Orton - Heel. In 2009, the way he won the Royal Rumble and fueded with Triple H and lead Legacy was very well done.
Rob Van Dam - Face.
Rey Mysterio - Face. Ever been a heel?
The Big Show - Face.
Chris Jericho - Heel. Complete asshole to be honest.
Shawn Michaels - Face as HBK. Face in DX.
The Undertaker - Both. He's been a face for the last few years, but again going back to the attitude era, the Corporate Ministry and dominating the WWE, that was very well put together. As a face, he's also been great, entering to Kid Rocks' American Badass theme on a motorbike... that was awesome.
Alberto Del Rio - Heel.
Ultimate Warrior - Face.
Macho Man Randy Savage - Heel.
Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat - Face

Others

Vince McMahon - Heel
Shane McMahon - Heel
Stephanie McMahon - Heel
Michael Cole - Face
Jerry 'The King' Lawler - Heel
'JR' Jim Ross - Face

Oh lord

Most of this list is filled with guys who were practically one or the other, never both for the majority of their career.

I'll just touch on those who made a good career out of doing both...

Kane - Heel. When I think of Kane I think a Vorheez esque movie monster who could destroy anyone at anytime not the rent a tag partner or goofy uncle fester wannabe big man.

Edge - Heel. Was obviously more comfortable being a douche than a babyface role model judging by his failed face runs in '04 and 2010.

CM Punk - Heel. Punk's naturally a douche and all of his best work is him working as a heel.

Batista - Heel. Similar story to Punk. Even when he was face, his best matches came when he worked the 'heel' role against guys like Taker.

The Rock - Heel. Bumps like a heel, personality traits of a heel and most of his better promos were done as a heel.

Steve Austin - Face. Very similar story to The Rock except when they tried to turn him back it backfired big time.

Mick Foley - Face. This is really tough because he was a great heel too but obviously his peak of popularity came when he turned face at the end of '98.

Randy Orton - Heel. Actually works a face style better and The RKO is a face finisher but as a character he's always been better suited to being a heel.

Shawn Michaels - Like Orton, just comes off as a heel but in the ring he works better as a face.

I dunno I think hogan was better as a heal

And much easier to watch as well....Bash at the Beach 1996 was epic, A real masterstoke by WCW, Hogan and Bischoff.

Hogan's heel turn was one the most shocking of all time, It Pissed off so many fans they even tried to storm the ring and attack Hogan, They pelted the ring with crap and then Hogan got on the mic and told everyone to stick it.

JBL -- I can't recall the JBL persona ever being a Face but even including
Bradshaw I much prefer him as a heel.

Kane -- Monster Heel
Edge -- Heel
Sting -- Face
Sheamus -- Heel
CM Punk -- Tweener
Batista -- Heel (his babyface stuff got old and stale very quickly)
The Miz -- Heel (I can't recall him being a face)
The Rock -- Face
Booker T -- Face (I must admit I always thought his heel work was terrible)

Triple H -- Heel (because he actually jobbed as a heel)
Ric Flair -- Heel (simply because he does the exact things as a face anyways)

Bret Hart --Face
John Cena -- Face (I would like to see him turn heel though)
Mark Henry -- heel
Hulk Hogan -- Face
Mick Foley -- Face
Stone Cold -- Face
Randy Orton -- Heel (same as Ric Flair)
Rob Van Dam -- Face (but his heel work in ECW was a thing of beauty)
Rey Mysterio -- Face (Again has ever been a heel? Could not imagine it in anycase)

The Big Show -- Heel
Chris Jericho -- Heel
Shawn Michaels -- Face
The Undertaker -- Heel (the american badarse heel was awesome)
Alberto Del Rio -- Heel (same as Mysterio)
Ultimate Warrior -- Face
Macho Man Randy Savage -- Face
Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat -- Face

Others

Vince McMahon -- Heel (but I would prefer it if he stays off the tv altogether)

Shane McMahon -- Heel (as above has some quality matches though)
Stephanie McMahon -- (AA)
Michael Cole -- (AA)
Jerry 'The King' Lawler -- Heel
'JR' Jim Ross -- Face I remember his heel run ...lol

Hate to be "that guy", but just to clarify a few points:

* HHH and Stone Cold were, for a lot of their careers, not "faces", but "tweeners";

* Rey Mysterio was a heel in his time with the Filthy Animals.

Ergh...

Austin was an anti-hero, booked and wrestled like a face.

Triple H was just a flat out heel.

I think Bret Hart was pretty good as a heel as well as a face. Great on the mic as a heel, one of the best for a long time
