Yep, that would be credible - saying "Sorry the NRL is firmly opposed to tattoos".

You'd probably be able to fill two matches each weekend or the players would have to wear burkhas.
you making things up again BF? were did I say "the NRL is firmly opposed to tattoos"?

where did I say players should be banned from playing because they have tattoos?

Clubs need to be smart the way that they accept sponsors. IIRC an AFL or VFL club flirted with the idea of being sponsored by a legal brothel at one point. Clearly they decided that it was not appropriate for the club.

A tattoo parlour with Nomad/Bandito links should have had the same outcome IMHO.

Mate it's called hyperbole. The art of making a point by exaggeration.

In this case highlighting the ridiculousness of your suggestion that a tattoo business is unfit for sponsorhip of rugby league, where the players' tattoos are now almost as prominent as the jersey sponsors or the club colours.

Maybe if you grew a sense of humour and hopped off your high horse you'd get the point.

I'm pretty sure even the rest of your tag team isn't objecting to the tattoo business so much as the links to an outlaw motorcycle group...

I thought is was called Bigfella NFI, the art of Bigfella trying to make an arguement by making things up.

the original poster asked how the club could deny a legal business from sponsorship, I suggested a diplomatic (ask somebody to explain what this means) way of knocking them back. Calling them (alleged) criminals may not go down the best, but we know how you reply to people.

Maybe if you grew a sense of humour and hopped off your high horse you'd get the point.
I have a good sense of humour, as I get a laugh out of all your replies and statements.

people are suggesting there are quite a few different types of legitimate businesses we shouldn't be associated with.

I don't take personal offence when someone has a go at me or my opinions. But maybe some do. If so I apologise.
Everyones different and has a different view of things. At least we can all agree on one thing....our love of the eels.

Thanks bartman, I'm sure we'd all get along pretty well in the real world. I wouldn't mind meeting everyone from here when they finally release me.
