So far this season he has referred 2 games and sledged someone about a medical condition they have.

It is such a shame that he carries this untouchable attitude, a large majority of great players in any sport- (which I think Slater is) have some degree of an arrogance/cocky attitude which is just about acceptable. Slater’s recent actions however cross that line and surely he as a duty to behaviour properly as he is a role model to quite a few people.

If his actions continue his legacy may be tarnished and in the near future we will be talking about his behaviour instead of his great playing skills/tries.

Absolutely. It's not Cory Paterson's fault he has a chemical imbalance. The fact he's still playing footy at all is testament to his bravery. Depression kills people, it's no joke and not a matter of not being a softcock. Would you sledge someone about having cancer? Of course not. No difference.

Cory should be praised for coming back to the game and fighting thru this, not sledged by a f**king cat in Slater.

I don't think that you could classify that as the same.

But there is a line that you can cross but do not. Slater crossed it and whilst it doesn't warrant the punishment associated with racial vilification, it's simply a poor reflection of Slater as an individual.
