Wow, look at all the irreparable, serious, life long scars on Ms. Milligan's face...

Okay now.... the way I see it .

Bird has been cleared in a court of law in a democratic country. I can live with that. A lot of dickheads have had their day in court and have either won or lost cases. That's life.

Now to be a bit democratic here again.

Recent rugby league names that come to mind..... Ingliss, Whatmough, Stewart, Lockyer, cutie, the east bloke, the ex Tiges bloke, the this bloke, the that bloke.

Been quiet a few of them in dispatches over the last year or so.

Most of them stayed and played on the field for their respective clubs, with the blessings of the NRL.

So now that Mr Bird has been cleared in a court of law the only offence that we as a club can hold against the Bird is the fact that he kept his guts and didn't say a word.

Is that a hanging offence. I have strong feelings about it. If I was the coach I'd be real pissed off. If one of my leading players couldn't and wouldn't confide in me about the incident then I would not want him in my team. That is my opinion on the matter, but in reality, and in light of how all the other transgressors were dealt with, and upon some of their return to top league level and to be dealt with as the return of the demi gods.... then f**k the lot of them.

Bird should be playing for the Sharks next year.

If he doesn't want to, and the Club does not want him then so be it. But if the league is fair dinkum in anyway shape or form, and I strongly believe they wouldn't know how to be fair dinkum if their nuts were on fire, then they should direct that the Sharks have first say.

Again judging by the NRL's double standards, and the fact that our Club has lacked balls for years and years and years.... then I think old Birdy will be moving north of the Tweed.

Can't blame him, other dickheads from the Shire have moved north .... eh Coastal?

Cheers

He is bound by evidence not common sense something you obviously lack

and he still should be charged with hinder police as should she
Imagine that evidence and testimony. No, what a fool the judge is. He should go with sheer common sense, it's the vibe your honour.

You are a fool, now go away.

So, in summation:
We are heading toward the semis in 2008, when our international 5/8 is minding his own business and sleeping in his own bed by himself, when this stupid bitch walks in and attacks the bloke.

Forced to defend himself he injures the idiot and is lost to our club for good.

Can't she be charged with something??!!

I'd have found him guilty and sentenced him to 2 years at Shark Park.

Least it's better than the chair.

Marginally.

He is going to the Titans with Cougar Ron.

Thanks bitch.

Frenzy.

she didnt have a fractured eye socket.

Without a shadow of a doubt, she did. However, it's of little consequence now anyway.

I think Finnane's assessment of Gilligan's courage is a bit of a wank. This chic comes across as one of the most manipulative Axis II PDs ever. If there are charges that can be laid on her in any way, I hope it happens.

Having said that though Finnane is my hero amongst judges. He did after all put the Skafs away.

To all the wishful thinkers saying things like wrongful dismissal and the like remember what was already briefly mentioned. He wasn't dismissed because of the charges. The club covered it's arse on that one by dismissing him for lying. Did he lie to the club? By all accounts yes so there is no wrongful dismissal.

It's the same, on a grander scale, as what the NRL did to Snake. Suspended him for something loosely related to his charge but nevertheless something which could be acted on.

If I had my way, this minute, without having mulled it all over I'd be wanting the club to pursue all avenues to get him back. I don't like him or the way he has been seen to conduct himself over many years but I want a premiership and I reckon Bird is a football winner that has NRL ring written all over him.

By the way, the hot tip now is the Cowboys not the Titans. Pete Parr says no other NRL club can come close to what they can offer Bird and really - why go to the Titans on an incentive contract now that he has had the charges dismissed? Bird is a free agent now and should go after the $$$$ IMO

The only way the Tits can afford him now is to cheat
