I liked Francis Meli's hit on Greg Bird, from a few seasons ago.

But that Bird hit on Thurston is kinda similar to the one Adam Blair put on Thurston after he got a kick away in the Kiwis vs Kangaroos final in 2006. That was a beauty.

Players dont all of a sudden lie on the ground motionless and then get straight back up with no assistance. If he was actually hurt he wouldnt have got straight back up. Im not saying it wasnt a big hit.
