Lol 4 weeks exactly how soft can you get lol

I agree. Others on this charge got found not guilty or suspended as below.
  • Chris Beattie - guilty, two weeks, 2001
  • Luke Bailey - found not guilty, 2002
  • Fuifui Moimoi - found not guilty, 2006
  • Brad Morrin - guilty, eight weeks, 2007
  • Jarrad Saffy - found not guilty, 2008
  • William Zillman - guilty, 4 weeks, 2009
  • Scott Bolton - found not guilty, 2010
  • James Graham - guilty, 12 weeks, 2012
I don’t remember Zillman’s but do all the others. Always arguable to compare historical charges but given the debate here from all whether it was a bite at all.. and to get 4 weeks.. thats a brutally harsh term for mine. But in the age of outrage - not surprising to me.

I do wonder was the bloke who got bitten, prepared to leave it on the field?

My guess is no.

you forgot Bromwich not guilty using same defence as proctor.

As for this incident, why was Johnson not also penalised? Some decently strong force to the face and possible to do neck damage with that sort of rubbish

I expect the DPP to launch an investigation of some sort, as this clearly goes beyond the NRL's investigative powers. Dr Meninga advised that poor Kevvie's life was in danger.

I guess we can now officially refer to poor Kevvie as a 'mouth breather'?

I was alluding to how could Chiddy and Perenara correlate their individual evidence to come up with a send off.
I definitely agree that it should have went on report.
I find it astounding that he was sent off.
Especially after Johnson didn’t answer the question of whether he wanted to make an official complaint.

I dare say the Bunker got involved. Fox Sports were reporting on TV last night that when Perenara was first discussing it, and before he could ask Johnson if he wanted to lodge a formal complaint, the Bunker told Perenara it was a bite and Proctor should go. If that is correct, then its the Bunker that changed the expeced process.
