I would say it is a real posibility.
head could be off to england as his leg is not improving & has limited time in the NRL. & Hornbys best game is at fullback. They will probably can Gasnier to 5/8 now & stick with Richie there.
the biggest thing is Kimmorley will not have to move.

carn the dragons.

The host ( forgot his name ) said "something like "'I've heard a rumour and I won't give away his name , that you could be in red and white . Is this true Brett"?

Then Noddy smiled and went into full politician mode.

Head is a great player but great players watching from the sidelines aren't much help.

I dunno what will happen but it sounded like talks have already happened.

Noddy then said he loves the dropping of the anti tampering rule.

he did also say that he is open to any offer what so ever ..whether that be here in Australia , in England or working as a $1 hooker in an alley way in Nairobi.

lol, apologies Reefy, must have missed it.

Hmm, Red and white could also be St Helens.

If it is the Dragons though, you can beat he would be playing out of his skin to try and impress them. He should know his form so far has been a little average.

and where pray tell would the dragons find the ridiculous amount of money required to fit Kimmorely under the cap (we all know he wouldn't go anywhere for less)?

Given the Dragons are apparently struggling to retain Ryles (from uk offers), and Head is still under contract for next season, I think the original poster got it right ie Noddy will either stay at the sharks for the next three seasons or be a chook.

Noddy's just playing the negotiations game

Seemed to me that Noddy wanted to stick around. He and Sticky seemed to get on well the other night. Particularly when Sticky said our strengths at the moment were our halves and our back row, and that he was impressed by Noddy's form/play in the early games.

They'll be doing well to get BK and Shrek. Aren't the Sharks paying BK 400k? Apparently 450k for O'Meley.

Now after missing out on Shrek the Sharkies will definitely have enough to retain Kimmorley for another three years.

Observations from the dress circle.

1) St George would have to have rocks in their heads to consider Gaz as a 6 after the form that cocky little genius Williams has shown.

2) Someone should do Williams a favour and tell him to do whatever he can to get the fugg out of St George if Noddy is coming within cooee of the place. Noddy will mince the kids career. Geez I hope/wish Thommo is Ritchie's manager

3) As you basically said, Head is a shot duck.

4) GET WILLIAMS STICKY. Forget all those Rooster kidz for a minute and have a good look at this latter day Cliff Lyons.

Well have a look in any of this year's Big Leagues and study the Dragons roster. They don't even have a Flegg side so there's some saving. Their NRL side is full of rookie and their PL side is a bunch of nuffies.

They don't have that many out injured either. I'd say Gaz is the only real top money earner on the sidelines.

I reckon they could afford 2 Kimmorley's. Easily.

Noddy to discuss new Sharks deal

BRETT KIMMORLEY will soon find out whether he has a future at Cronulla, with coach Ricky Stuart ready to sit down with the Sharks captain and talk about his contract beyond this season.

Stuart, Cronulla chief executive Greg Pierce, Kimmorley and marketing manager Paul Donaghy addressed a fans forum on Monday night. The question of Kimmorley's contract, which expires at the end of the year, was raised. The former Origin halfback has said he would like another two years at Cronulla.
Stuart acknowledged any protracted discussions could be detrimental to performances.
"I agreed with you that we need to sit down with Noddy (Kimmorley) to nut out his future and figure out what is best for him and for the team," Stuart said on the Sharks website yesterday.
The form of another former Origin player, Ben Ross, was also raised. He played just seven games for the club last year after wrecking his knee in a match against Penrith, his former club.
Ross was demoted to the bench yesterday for Monday's derby with St George Illawarra.
"Recovering from a knee reconstruction sometimes takes as long as 18 months to be 100 per cent right, but he is working extremely hard to get to where he wants to be," Stuart said.
He also took on board fans' concerns that a speedy backline was imperative.
"We have possibly one of the best backrows in the competition, extremely skilled and experienced players in the halves, and to complement that we are working on combinations in the backline in a bid to find that little extra bit of strike power that you have identified as being missing from our game," he wrote on the forum.
Kimmorley's manager George Mimis said he had received keen interest for the 30-year-old from England but the preferred option was to stay in the NRL and with the Sharks.
Meanwhile, Stuart has given former Bronco Brett Seymour a start at five-eighth in the absence of the injured Adam Dykes.
For the Dragons, twins Brett and John Morris, the sons of former Dragons star Steve Morris, have been named, making them just the third set of twins to play first grade together.
Chris Anderson has named an eight-man bench as the Roosters try to break their 2007 duck against the Broncos at Aussie Stadium on Friday.
"We've just got a couple of injuries and, with the short turnaround, some blokes didn't have a run today so we're just giving them more time to prove themselves," Anderson said.
Manly will be without halfback and captain Matt Orford (ankle injury), and internationals Steve Menzies (groin) and Steve Matai (ankle) for a third week when it faces the Warriors at Brookvale on Sunday.
For Wests Tigers, also winless, Daniel Fitzhenry has been moved to the wing to make way for Paul Whatuira against North Queensland in Townsville on Saturday. The Cowboys welcome back Jason Smith from injury.
Former Test hooker Danny Buderus is back from his dangerous-throw suspension from late 2006 to pull on the No.9 jersey as the Knights take on the in-form Melbourne Storm.

Is he, isn't he...

Tell you what though bout that Williams bloke... hes an old Narooma boy... gotta love that.

aahhh memories....

If we were to ever chase him, I'd love to see himat Shark Park, as long as he can dispatch his big head...

But I will give him his dues... he has a go... and there is not much of having a go in our backs at the mo.

Cheers
