Keep in mind though that for small market sides producing a superstar is the difference between winning a premiership and sucking for decades.

A lot of raiders fans saw milford as a guy who could bring the club premierships. I mean honestly it was pretty sucky. Think of how newcastles history would have gone if another club had signed johns when he had played a year or two for the knights.
