Stagger.. what are your thoughts about Anthony Tupou from the Sharks. It seems he is wasted by Ricky Stuart, I wonder If DA could do much better with him???? - Could be used as a center or second rower or lock

I'm a fan, however he's chosen to take the option and stay at the sharks.

i cant see why we would be targeting established, big name first grade forwards? With the likes of Hindmarsh, Moi Moi, Mannah, Poore, Smith, Shackleton and Horo at the club next season i cant see why we would be throwing money at guys like Manu or Mason! I'd like to see us buy a couple of cheap young guys like John Mannah just to back up the guys we already have!

I'm pretty sure that Mason rumour was in the paper a few days ago. Linked to one of the storm articles and about 40 established first graders without a contract for next year. IT said in there that mason had 4 clubs after him and we were one. All unsubstantiated though.
In regards to Ferguson, no thanks IMO. 2 main things turn me off him (other than him being a guy, not that there's anything wrong with that)
1. as been mentioned - Mundine.
2. the guy has just bagged out his current club. Now i knopw players want to win comps and all that but if you are going to move to a different team because of that you do it quietly. Sign for the other team, move and then say how happy you are with the new team and it will be good to make a challenge for the title. not that it can ever be guaranteed. But to basically call your own side a bunch of no hopers and then still pull on the jersey for the rest of the year is wrong. Way to put all your teammates offside

Absolutely! Depends on the price though. I`d rather have a cheap, reasonable winger and an outstanding half-back, than the other way around.
